Recently, SRYDEN sent emails to Oddblox customers regarding a potential data breach we had identified. At the time of our communication, based on available evidence, we believed Oddblox was aware of this breach. Our intention was to ensure affected users were informed and could take appropriate action to protect their data.
However, we have since learned that Oddblox was not aware of the breach at the time, despite the data being accessible online for over a month. While our intention was to protect users and promote transparency in security incidents, we acknowledge that our approach and assumptions caused unintended reputation damage to Oddblox.
We have been in direct communication with Oddblox to address this situation, and we are pleased to report that the matter has been resolved cooperatively. We appreciate their professional approach in handling this situation.
